Annet Mahendru

Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother is born in Afghanistan. Mahendru is fluent of German Russian and English and additionally speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India to an Indian father and a Russian father as well as an Indian mother, is fluent with both of the languages. At the age of 11 she choreographed and performed a dance that led to a German TV appearance. The show featured a Russian-born snow maiden who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. She graduated from high school with a bachelor's diploma from the Department of English at the University of New York. While in New York, she studied acting in the HB Studio. Later on she enrolled at the Groundlings School and took up several initiatives. Her parents were Hindu as well as an Indian father Ghanshan K Mahendru, who was a Russian mom Olga. Their parents split when she turned 13 years old old and she was moved from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell on FX's The Americans. She is best known as the former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. The actress also appeared in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
